Five years ago, I thought I was living the dream. The dream job. The dream city.
The version of success I had chased for more than a decade.

And then, almost overnight… everything shifted.

Leaving my job, leaving my city, dealing with an injury, losing my momentum — it felt like someone pulled the floor from underneath me. I lost a version of myself I had worked so hard to build. It was time for a new chapter and I didn’t even know it.

The Breakdown Phase
When you dedicate 100% of yourself to your career, it slowly becomes your identity.
Your confidence.
Your stability.
Your worth.

So when mine disappeared… I felt like I disappeared too. I had to go back home to Los Angeles.

The first months back in LA were heavy. A mix of grief, confusion, exhaustion, and honestly… embarrassment. I kept asking myself: “What does any of this mean now?”

The Moment It Shifted
But here’s the wild part: What looked like a collapse was actually a reset. A reset I never would have chosen, but desperately needed.

Healing my body. Sleeping again. Eating without rushing. Sitting with myself. Learning that I was more than my résumé.

Slowly, the noise faded and clarity arrived.

The Lesson:
Sometimes life removes everything you built—not to punish you, but to rebuild you on a stronger foundation.
One with room for love, softness, connection, purpose… and a new ambition.
Not the frantic kind. But the aligned kind.

This is the beginning of my 5-year story of starting over, rediscovering myself, and rebuilding from the inside out.

Welcome to Week 1 of “The 5-Year Reset.”
